Decided I needed to practice some more shading skills - anndd I wanted to draw Maria again - drawing and colouring her hair fascinates me 
The hair was done with a pen tool with out bluring. The clothes and skin was the pen tool with bluring - the background was made with the brush tool.
I was inspired to re-draw Maria after coming across a GIF on Tumblr from Sonic X with Shadow and Maria sitting under the tree- Maria in a pink dress. That GIF was so simple yet if you know the back story it's quite emotional. Gosh I feel such pity for them.
